Connecting to the Wood element

Wood people are overflowing with energy and ideas. They are enthusiastic and enterprising. This makes it a breeze for them to connect with others and stimulate them. They are full of life energy.

Emotions are felt and can sometimes come out exuberantly, so that the emotions of others are overlooked. Because wood people want to move on to the next challenge, they don't always take the time to reflect on the eruption that happened. This meditation helps you to connect with your wood energy and your environment in order to experience more balance.


In order to connect you even better with Wood, I would like to ask you to pick up a wooden object that is important to you or that you have recently acquired or found. It carries the right energy and helps you to find the floor. You can also choose to meditate in the forest or next to a tree. Dare to be creative and trust your gut.

Duration: 10 minutes

Prepare a pen and paper in advance, so that you can write down your experiences afterwards. To help you with this, I have come up with a number of questions for you. You can find it under the meditation.


After the meditation

After the meditation, take at least 5 minutes to record your experiences.
  • Where was your energy at the beginning of the meditation?
  • What did you feel in your body during the meditation?
  • Did any emotions emerge?
  • What ideas emerged?
  • Did you experience a blockage somewhere? If so, where?
  • How does your wood energy feel?
Write down everything that comes to your mind, even if it doesn't seem relevant or you can't post it. These are often points that become clear (sometimes days) later.
