Earth meditation

Connecting with the element Earth

Earth people who are in their element, have their feet firmly on the ground. They create a solid foundation for their environment to fall back on. The three manifestations of Earth each have their own way of doing this. 2 earth people nurture and create a warm nest, 5 earth people love to forge new paths and 8 earth people are the stable factor in their environment.

In order to really be there for others, it is important to be there for yourself first. To be fully present in your body. As an earth person I have been able to experience for myself what a difference it is when you have really decreased energy in your body. You are then so much more connected to yourself, you experience peace of mind and solidity in your body.

Creating balance as a 5 earth person is therefore so much easier.


In order to connect you even better with Earth, I would like to ask you to pick up an Earth object that is important to you or that you have recently acquired or found. It carries the right energy and helps you to find the floor. You can also choose to meditate outside, where you are surrounded by earth. Dare to be creative and trust your gut.

Duration: 11 minutes

Prepare a pen and paper in advance, so that you can write down your experiences afterwards. To help you with this, I have come up with a number of questions for you. You can find it under the meditation.


After the meditation

After the meditation, take at least 5 minutes to write down everything that comes up to you. Let yourself go completely.

To help you, I have written down some questions for you:
  • Where was your energy at the beginning of the meditation?
  • What did you feel in your body during the meditation?
  • Did any emotions emerge?
  • Did you experience a blockage somewhere? If so, where?
  • How does your earth energy feel?
Write down everything that comes to your mind, even if it doesn't seem relevant or you can't post it. These are often points that become clear (sometimes days) later.
